What do you enjoy most about your current job?
I enjoy working in an educational establishment which is high achieving and has a pleasant working environment.
What are your favourite leisure activities?
I enjoy gardening, reading and book collecting, camping and walking and listening to classical music.I also enjoy visiting properties owned by the National Trust.
Where in the world would you love to visit?
I would one day like to visit Japan and visit the many gardens there.
What would you do on an ideal date?
Have a good conversation in a pleasant setting.
What are you looking for in a partner?
Loyalty, honesty, sensitivity and humour. I would want a partner to be my best friend.
What makes a good relationship?
Sharing life's experiences, getting to know each other and becoming good friends. It has been argued that for a relationship to work, the couple must stive to become the best of friends.
What makes you laugh?
What makes me laugh are clever one liners or just very silly situations. For example, I still laugh when watching Monty Python.
What music do you like?
I like early music all the way through to contemporary music. My all time favourite composer is Ralph Vaughan Williams. At work I have BBC Radio 3 on for most of the day.
What has been the highlight of your life so far?
A career highlight was being awarded a research medal for the work I had done.
What are you looking forward to in the future?
I am looking forward to having a number of outdoor adventures in the next few years and perhaps share these adventures with a partner.
