What do you like most about where you currently live?
Close to the sea and the downs, London and Brighton within easy reach and, without wanting to sound like me dad, a friendly village where everyone says hello, you know, just like the old days.
What do you enjoy most about your current job?
It's busy! each day is different and I meet a wide range of interesting people. I feel I make a difference. Oh, and I work with some lovely people!...better say that, just in case...but I honestly do!
What are your favourite leisure activities?
Love being outside, walking slowly up hills and mountains, coming down them a little quicker! regular gym visitor, but not religiously. Love watching live sport (not on tv) when I can.Â
Indoors, I love cooking, it's probably the most relaxing thing I do, but I can't bake! So any tips welcome. Music and movies are high on the list and love reading but don't do it enough. Oh, and visiting any cafe that does a decent latte!
Where in the world are your favourite places?
I have a long term love affair with the lake district, everything about it, mountains, air, water and the quietness.
Loved Istanbul for sheer craziness and Bilbao for the most amazing building I've ever been in. Â But London is still my favourite city. Oh and any cafe that does a decent latte!
Where in the world would you love to visit?
I once travelled the length of Italy and didn't go to Florence, always regretted it. I love the idea of going to New Zealand, I once read that you can ski in the morning and surf in the afternoon! But as I can't surf and a terrible skier, it must be that I love roast lamb!
What would you do on an ideal date?
Get the chance to chat and have a giggle, maybe a quiet lunch or a drink, Â windy walk and perhaps a movie.Â
What are you looking for in a partner?
Bright, confident and funny. Someone to share life's ups and downs,Â
What makes a good relationship?
Trust, openness and respect for each other. Ability to make each other laugh, fancying the pants off each other!
What makes you laugh?
Most things, love the cartoons of Gary Larson, always happy to watch episodes of Blackadder, Frasier and The Big Bang Theory no matter how many times I've seen it before! Love Spike Milligan and the Two Ronnies still make me laugh out loud!
On a more, uncharitable level, People taking a sip from a drink and then realising its far too hot!
What music do you like?
Had a slight addiction to buying CDs in my formative years..so left with quite an eclectic collection, anything from ABBA, Bowie, Counting Crows, Daft Punk, Elbow, Franz Ferdinand, Garbage, I can do this all the way to 'Z'! thanks goodness for The Zutons! I can't stand ZZ top! (although that could be suppressed envy due to my inability to grow a beard!
Love the radio programs The Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show and the Dermot O'Leary Show.
What has been the highlight of your life so far?
Birth of my son, he is the most incredible, Â bright, fun and wonderful child, and I am completely and utterly bias!
Aside from little man, I have visited some wonderful places, with great people. More recently I was lucky enough to get tickets for events in the Olympics and Paraolympics, an amazing experience.
What are you looking forward to in the future?
Watching and supporting my son grow up. Sharing my life with someone and having fun together.
what in life do you find most difficult?
Taking a 'selfie'! And having my picture taken in general! In every photo taken of me since the age of about 16 I look like I am coming to repossess someone's house!
