Dee40's relationship status wasn't listed as an option and is seeking males for friendship.
"Don't it always seem to go, that you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone?" - Joni Mitchell
Being forced to put something here, so here it is...can't think of anything to put, message me if you want to get to know me as I'm not putting much publicly here! I'm an open book, but I've seen and interacted with some of the types of people who use this site (you know who you are, and I know you check my profile once in a while) and they're not getting my details.
For the record, my photos are recent...the one with the sunglasses was taken last summer 2018 in Brighton and the one with the TARDIS (no, not a Dr Who geek, my ex is and I wanted to show him) was mid-February 2019
Interesting how "married" is the only non-single option given for status...how about "in a relationship"? How about "Cohabiting"? How about "Engaged"? For the record, I'm "in a relationship" and I'm not looking for anything more than friendship!
What do you like most about where you currently live?
Having moved recently from London, which was a societal toxin to my moods, everything about where I live now is perfect...I mostly like the fact that I am half an hour by train away from friends in Stockport and an easy cheap train back to London if I ever need to go back there (have friends and family there)
What are your favourite leisure activities?
Feeding the squirrels, going out and taking photos...anything to do with nature, really, and getting away from people...not that I hate people, I just hate cities and the mindsets of the people who live there.
Avid photographer, and I have some photos up at www.inphot.co.uk (not updated regularly, and older photos aren't indicative of my skill), so going out and taking photos is the MAIN interest and I take anything up to 300-400 photos a week with a fair amount of them being of good enough quality to sell.
What would you do on an ideal date?
Idealism varies from person to person, so what's ideal for ME isn't necessarily ideal for the other person...but once I get to know someone a little I can usually find something we both enjoy, and I find it very important to make sure the other person enjoys the date as well.
What are you looking for in a partner?
Honesty, monogamy, understanding, mutual interests, a friend as well as a lover, someone who completes me...too many to list really, but they're the main ones.
Someone who can survive without me and is independent is fairly important, but who still wants to spend time with me...this is also how I would describe myself...a loner who enjoys the company of the right people!
What makes a good relationship?
A mutual understanding that neither has to be on top form 100% of the time...with my Asperger I can get moody at times, but that is generally to do with where I used to live in London (and is slowly dissipating), and someone who can give me my space when I need it, and I'll do the same for them in return.
Trust is above all else, and for me I trust someone until they break that trust...after that things are never the same.
Mutual interests are always handy, or a willingness to experience new interests...I am often interested in taking part in other people's interests even if I myself don't like them, I'm willing to experiment, and would hope my potential partner is the same. Definitely someone who has an interest in photography and a good eye for detail would go to the top of my list.
What makes you laugh?
Being tickled generally works...comedy too
What music do you like?
I have very esoteric tastes, but as long as the music has understandable words I'm usually okay with it.
What has been the highlight of your life so far?
Too many to list, and they've all been equal highlights...Getting into photography, meeting a special someone who was my partner for a while but who's now a good friend, quitting smoking, taking holidays around the UK...none of them have really stood out as the best, but they've all been highlights.
Moving to Crewe has been a major highlight too.
What are you looking forward to in the future?
Moving to Stockport (or somewhere else) and coming out of my shell...I have moved to Crewe, and that is fine for now...it allows me to recouperate from what I call "the London effect". Finishing my books I have been writing for a while now, and getting them sold.
