What do you like most about where you currently live? Having lived in several large cities around the country, I appreciate the more rural nature of this area and its proximity to some very beautiful countryside. |
| |
What do you enjoy most about your current job? I work within the antiques trade and very much enjoy the connection with history as well as the satisfaction of breathing fresh life into often battered and discarded relics of the past. |
| |
What are your favourite leisure activities? In the warmer months I enjoy traveling and camping in my vintage VW campervan. Whatever the time of year I love tinkering with old machinery, engines, bicycles, you name it, if it's broken I'll try and fix it. I love spending time outdoors, especially in the country, be it walking, cycling or just watching nature, country pubs and the occasional tipple. |
| |
Where in the world are your favourite places? The Orkney Isles, Spanish cities, remote beaches and mountain ranges anywhere. |
| |
Where in the world would you love to visit? There's still a million places I'd love to visit, but I've always dreamt of undertaking a rail trip to include the Trans Siberian Railway, spending time in Mongolia. |
| |
What would you do on an ideal date? Just a quiet drink in a country pub, maybe a nice walk afterwards. |
| |
What are you looking for in a partner? In the short term I'm looking for friendship and companionship, someone to share everyday life. Ultimately, I'm looking for my soulmate and life partner. |
| |
What makes a good relationship? A desire to walk the same path in life. Understanding, compromise, knowing how to both give and take. |
| |
What makes you laugh? The Mighty Boosh, Vic and Bob, Frankie Boyle, children. |
| |
What music do you like? Post punk, goth rock, alternative rock, jazz, trance, folk. |
| |
What has been the highlight of your life so far? Gosh, this ones quite tricky. Probably after being awarded my degree and realizing that I didn't HAVE to follow the path in life that society expected - what a relief! |
| |
What are you looking forward to in the future? Buying my own house (hopefully very soon), spending more time traveling, finding that someone special. |
