.Hello, I'm a decent, laid back chap, young at heart, intelligent, with a good sense of humour( or so i think, others may disagree). I'm interested in meeting a woman to share life with and ideally settle down with, someone who I have things in common with but also be able to share different interests and experiences with.
I currently work in the jewellery quarter in Birmingham, after being made redundant from my 15 year office job earlier this year, not exactly what i thought i'd wind up doing, but enjoying it quite a bit. Other than that i still have my artistic pretentions, I sing, write songs and play guitar in a band, performing my own material aswell as an array of covers.Music is my main passion in life, I enjoy going to gigs and seeing live music as much as possible.
I’m also a bit of a film buff and like my cinema, which is rare these days, there's only been the odd decent film made since the 90's.
Other than that i think i'm a nice, genuine, loving chap, not perfect by any means (but who is), i have a house, a good family with whom i am very close to, my 2 year old nephew gets all the attention at the moment and some good friends and comrades.
Other likes /interests - writing, painting, reading, country walks, Uilleann pipes, cosy pubs, real ales, Guinness, good food, good craic, celtic landscapes, the ocean, thunderstorms, sunshine, nature, Christmas, spirituality, biographies, people watching, long pub days…
I like to travel and am keen to explore new places in this country and abroad. I love the north east of England where I have family, I have enjoyed holidays in the south of France, Portugal and the Greek Islands, next on the list has to be Australia and the USA.
