I'm a happy, confident, fun-loving woman. Fairly self-sufficient with no baggage and not needing a man to 'complete me'. I just think that some things are nicer shared. My friends describe me as funny, loyal (fiercely), caring, loud and tactless (after a few glasses of wine apparently, I think i'm allergic). I'm learning Greek at nightschool and would love to do a Shirley Valentine at some point in the future (we should all have a dream). I love holidays (Greece obviously and skiing holidays), the lake district (memories of childhood holidays and more recent girly weekends), boats & beaches (although I can't really swim, waterwings are such a good look at my age). I love cooking, my friends, nights out, meals in or out, talking (try and stop me) and laughing (that seems to what I do most of on skiing holidays, if you've never tried it you really should, or maybe that's just me, I'm certainly not a natural). I love allsorts of music from Ella Fitzgerald and the Rat Pack to Queen, Neil Diamond, Take That, Bryan Adams...a right old mixture. I enjoy evenings at the pub or a few glasses of wine at home, not alone obviously, alcohol is definately for sharing. I'm happy in my own company and comfortable in my own skin but would just like to get more enjoyment out of leisure time...that doesn't involve mountain climbing/mountain biking or joining a gym. |
