What can I say? A friend of mine suggested that I join this site and I suppose there is a first time for everything! Ok I am a down to earth guy with an easy outlook on life and I take people as I find them. I feel it is prudent to state from the very start that I am not into one night stands or looking for web cam fun or anything of that nature, it is just not my style and how can you respect even yourself never mind the other person if you rush things or let your head be overcome with lust? Yes I am very passionate with the right lady at the RIGHT time, but it takes time and a little style and class for such an occasion to build up to a close and caring relationship.
To me there is so much more to getting to know someone special and all the fun and excitement of the chase, looking forwards to the next time we meet up and enjoying spending time together and just let life take it's own pace, that's the real way to achieve romance and find a lady that wants to be with you just as much as you want to be with them. I am certainly not expecting this to be easy, but I know you are out there somewhere and even though we have yet to meet, a special place in my heart was reserved for you on the day I was born. That may seem a little old fashioned to some people, but then again the latter usually lack social grace, morals or respect and in most cases suffer from low self esteem. People who are meant to be with each other are not only there when it counts, but they actually make each other better people and grow together at an equal pace. You only get out of a relationship what you yourself are prepared to put in and the same goes for friendships. I am sure that I will meet many friends on the way and I always endeavour to be a gentleman no matter what the outcome of a date or otherwise. I just hope that whoever (or should I say the ladies) that are reading this right now can indentify with the above.
I am 6" 1' tall and I enjoy playing sports (love a round of golf) and swimming, the arts, reading a good book or article in the press, music of all sorts and eras, a good night out, a quiet night in, walking in the county side, animals and good company. I work hard in the construction industry and I am good with people in general. I own my own house and car and I have no children and have never been married although I have lived with an ex, but alas it was not meant to be and I have given myself enough space and time before considering dating again, so as I look forwards to the future without baggage from the passed. I love to go out for a meal in a nice cosy country pub with good food the right lighting, fine wine and relaxed conversation, so what are you waiting for?
