Hey there,
I'm originally from the north east although I've been working down Manchester/ Telford for the past five months or so- just living out of hotels! Fortunately pretty good ones though...
I am looking to take the plunge and move somewhere down here full time shortly.
Initially I was down here with a colleague so we were doing all sorts and visiting just about every restaurant bar and casino in the centre of Manchester but these days I'm home alone.
Another manager at the Durham store I'm originally from told me about this site so I thought I'd give it a go as it could be a good way to do some networking and meet some decent people down here :)
When I'm not working (and am back home in the North East) I like walking my dogs, going out with with mates, cinema, music, theatre, comedy and reading. I am also a treasurer for a dog charity. I've been a veggie for about eighteen years but am not a tree-hugging hippy type, I promise :)
My favourite films are comedies- I love Dumb and Dumber, There's something about Mary, Monty Python films, and South Park: The Movie.
Saying that I also like a load of sensible films like The Pianist, Hotel Rwanda, The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile etc.
The last three films I went to see were Scream 4, Paul and The Lincoln Lawyer.
At the minute I'm listening to loads of music while I'm driving about and am currently listening to all the Live Lounge albums, MGMT and Eliza Doolittle.
TV: PEEP SHOW (Brilliant!), South Park, The Simpsons, any Derren Brown, 10 o'Clock Live.
