I would describe myself as confident, intelligent, honest, open and to the point with a good sense of humour and a playful streak. I value education and life experience highly and enjoy intelligent conversation and all opportunities to meet new people and learn new things.
My main hobbies and work include anything to do with animals and veterinary sciences - I keep and breed a range of unusual pets including reptiles and tarantulas, but am also a big lover of dogs, cats, horses and wildlife. I also enjoy getting involved with nature conservation projects and have no problem rolling up my sleeves and getting mucky cleaning out a pond or digging a badger set at the weekends.
I also love walking, cycling, swimming, singing, music, reading Terry Pratchett novels and watching good films both at the cinema and at home in the evenings. I've also recently joined a local archery club and am looking forward to developing and improving my skills. Physically I'm a big girl but working hard on slimming down so I can be more active and keep trying new things. I have blue eyes and my hair colour varies and has been everything from blonde to bright purple and turquoise in the last year, although currently I'm brunette.
Ideally I'm looking for someone around my own age or a possibly a little older and who lives fairly locally, who is intelligent, confident, a gentleman/lady, and has a clear idea of what they want from life and the determination to make it happen. I would like to meet someone that shares my love for animals and nature, and who can enjoy a day out and then come home and cozy up with a glass of wine and a film. Personality is always most important than looks, but I have a real soft spot for men with long hair or dreadlocks and ladies with red hair. |

What do you like most about where you currently live?
Its a quiet area but just a couple of minutes walk to the river, abbey grounds and town centre so great for getting out. Also all my friends and family are close by and there's some nice places to grab some food and relax. |

Working with animals, being outdoors and having a laugh with my workmates :-) |

Where in the world are your favourite places?
I haven't really had the chance to go abroad much but corfu was quite pretty in places. In the UK my favourite place to chill out is along the river and abbey grounds in Abingdon - great for BBQs and lazy summer evenings with my mates. |

Where in the world would you love to visit?
Madagascar - I would absolutely love to study the wildlife there, especially the panther chameleons. |

What would you do on an ideal date?
Would depend on the other person to a certain extent - anything from a trip to a wildlife park to Warwick Castle to Alton Towers, a gig or festival or even just a quiet drink and a dvd depending on what we felt like doing. |

What are you looking for in a partner?
Someone that looks past the physical and can value and respect me as I am, good and bad. Someone to be my best friend as well as a lover, who doesn't take themselves too seriously and can put up with my 'blonde' moments. Somebody I love spending time with but still has their own friends and interests and lets me just be 'me'. |

Honesty, fedelity, chemistry and respect. Two people on the same wavelength, when the relationship brings out the best in both. |

What music do you like?
I adore most music genres except RnB and pop, although I'm mostly into metal, accoustic and classical. On my MP3 player today are - Metallica, Slayer, Linkin Park, Marilyn Manson, Massive Attack, Newton Faulkner, Black Sabbath, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Prodigy, The Cure, Gorillaz, 9 Inch Nails, Air, Eva Cassidy, Luciano Pavaorotti, Andrea Bocelli, Mozart, Bach and a handful of random dance/trance tracks. |
