I'm just looking for friends at the moment
I call myself jackson p, on here, after one of my favourite artists Jackson Pollock, I live out in the country, miles from anywhere but near enough to civilisation when I want to act in a civilised manner
I would describe myself as ;slightly alternative , without being weird.
Eco-friendly, but not a tree hugger
I prefer the natural world to the real world. I try to keep myself trim and fit, but not by going to the gym. I just eat sensibly & Im no couch potato
I would go out of my way to help anyone,
but, I am very perceptive when it comes to being /used/
I lead a very simple life , and want for nothing. I'm non materialistic
My family, especially my grandchildren, mean a lot to me
I very rarely watch television. Life is too short, but I do sometimes watch I-Player, where I can watch what I like, , when I like
I enjoy listening to Radio 4

What do you like most about where you currently live?
My house is surrounded by woods, and is very cosy and "lived in" |

its stimulating and rewarding [especially at the end of the month] |

What are your favourite leisure activities?
walking, cycling, reading, motorcycles , horses, boats.
I enjoy camping and using my old motorhome
I don'd do DVDs and wine. |

At a gig, with a good band In bed with a decent book, In front of the fire on a cold winters night |

Anchorage in Alaska. Scottish Islands
Utah Salt Flats. Hemingway's Paris |

What would you do on an ideal date?
Meet up in a local pub with a good live band, (but with plenty of time to chat too) Or perhaps a quiet restuarant with a good a-la carte menu. |

What are you looking for in a partner?
I'm only looking for friends at the moment, but a partner would be a slightly alternative, independent thinker, articulate, Someone who likes to get out and about a bit
Not a fashion victim, or a telly-addict.
Maybe a little tomboyish, jeans and jumpers types |

earned trust, patience and understanding and perhaps a slightly offbeat sense of humour, Respecting the other's need for space |

What makes you laugh?
the little girl in "outnumbered" . the new Ab Fab,, Clare in the Community the News Quiz and Im Sorry I Havent a Clue;and Just a Minute. Freddie Star has me in knots
but, I can't stand Graham Norton or Norman Woss |

What music do you like?
Eclectic mix,Classical Piano music. Not bands who talk rather than sing (ie rap!) ,I like Heavy rock, blues, folk music, KD Lang' . Billie Holiday, Joan Jett, Michelle Shoc'd Tracy Chapman THe Stones and trad jazz, (not "Free Jazz") cos that is just a noise. Love absolute 80s on DAB; Suzzane Vega; Billie Holiday |
