Hi I am 57. I enjoy painting watercolour and teach at a U3A Class. I have also just started a french beginners course. I enjoy the outdoors walking, jogging, cycling. I live near Richmond park so there's plenty of opportunity.I am originally from Liverpool. |

What do you like most about where you currently live?
I live between Richmond Park and Wimbledon common. That says it all, doesn’t it? |

What do you enjoy most about your current job?
I work for myself, so it’s good, that I can choose who I work for, that’s the biggest bonus. I’ve known some of my clients for over twenty five years, and seen their children grow up, so I suppose the best thing is the people I meet. |

What are your favourite leisure activities?
Well I enjoy watercolour painting and walking. I go digging around in my allotment. I am learning French (that’s fun but can be difficult at times). I like watching a good farce at the theatre. I also do a bit of jogging and I still play football now and again. I do play the odd computer game and watch a bit of TV. I also do a bit of work and raise some money by running for the mental health charity Mind. |

Where in the world are your favourite places?
My favourite place is Languedoc Roussillon in the South of France |

Where in the world would you love to visit?
Burning Man event, Black Rock Dessert, Nevada |

What would you do on an ideal date?
A picnic on a hot summer’s day, share some food and drink, have cuddle, watch the clouds roll by while listening to you snore. What men could ask for more? |

What are you looking for in a partner?
This is a funny one. It’s probably easier to say what you wouldn’t want here, but I won’t dodge the bullet. I would like to meet someone who is a bit like me. I’m looking for a mature independent woman who likes a bit of fresh air who is more active than inactive and has her own interests; I think it’s important to share some things while still maintaining our sense of self. I am looking for someone I can laugh with; enjoy a walk and a chat. Relax, unwind, someone I can share a meal with and do the things that adults like to do. Sometimes it’s not always easy to get good quality time, so what I'm probably looking for is a friend. A friend I can feel comfortable with and hopefully find a spark and develop a lasting friendship/ relationship. Can I take this opportunity to say I’m child friendly, although given my age if you have children they would probably be teens now but that’s not a problem (been there, done that) and you only get one childhood. I know mine has lasted fifty seven years. |

What makes a good relationship?
I do think you have to wok at a relationship sometimes. It should be fun and when things are going well its easy but life has a way of throwing a spanner in the works. Listening and support is a good place to start. Get to know what your partners like and dislikes. Respect your partner, sometimes you can get so used to someone you forget the niceties. A simple thank you can mean a lot (I know I have been guilty of that in the past) and the odd nice surprise doesn’t hurt. |

What makes you laugh?
I have a good sense of humour so I laugh a lot. I’m quick witted and have quirky sense of humour. |

What music do you like?
I listen to classic FM in the car and Dire Straits, Mike Olfield and Jean Michel Jarre in the bath and conversational radio around the house. |

What has been the highlight of your life so far?
I think the highlight of my life has been the growing up of my children. The youngest is nineteen now and we still do lots of things together. They have given me years of pleasure and continue to do so. |

What are you looking forward to in the future?
I look forward to doing the things that bring me pleasure, and doing the things I’ve wanted to do but didn’t have the time. |
