About gstring59 |
| |
Hi there.
I have been divorced for 15 years now. I have enjoyed my "freedom" but now looking to settle down with the right man in my old age, someone who enjoys days out, weekends away and holidays abroad in the warmth. In my man I want a friend, companion, lover. Someone I can sit and have a meaningful conversation with, to cuddle up on the settee and enjoy a film or music and a bottle of wine. Also must have a good sense of humour. Can't really think of anything else to write at moment, but hey, get in touch and lets see what happens. |

Interview with gstring59 |
| |
What do you like most about where you currently live? Easy access to either the hustle and bustle of town or the peace and serenity of the countryside. Best of both worlds really |
| |
What do you enjoy most about your current job? To be honest, not a great deal. I am in the process of looking for something more stimulating. I suppose the only good thing about it is meeting other people - UPDATE now have found that job and I love it. Bonus is that I have Friday's off, so a nice long weekend. Just need someone to share it with |
| |
What are your favourite leisure activities? When feeling lazy, sitting listening to music and sewing, reading, jigsaws, crosswords. When feeling energetic, nice long walks in the countryside or along the beach, or maybe a game of golf. |
| |
Where in the world are your favourite places? Anywhere, everywhere. It is a big wide world out there with lots of lovely, interesting places. I suppose my most enjoyable and memorable holiday was to Florida |
| |
Where in the world would you love to visit? Canada. I have a penpal who lives in Canada and it sounds divine. As I have said, it is a big wide world out there |
| |
What would you do on an ideal date? First date, go for a meal or a drink, somewhere we can sit and talk and get to know each other and see if there is that spark between us |
| |
What are you looking for in a partner? Honesty, kindness, companionship, friendship. Someone who is easy to talk to and can hold more than a one sentence conversation. Someone who laughs at my silly jokes. Someone I can trust. |
| |
What makes a good relationship? Compromise. Openness. Being there for each other, supporting each other, being friends as well as lovers. Talking through any worries or problems. |
| |
What makes you laugh? Just silly little things that happen in day to day life. I still laugh at Morecambe and Wise and oh yes, Total Wipeout on a Saturday evening. |
| |
What music do you like? All kinds, except jazz. Never got to grips with it. My favourite artistes are Bon Jovi, Meatloaf, Elton John, Bryan Adams, Take That, Barbra Streisand, Dolly Parton. |
| |
What has been the highlight of your life so far? Having my children and watching them grow into the people they have become. They are my best friends. I love them |
| |
What are you looking forward to in the future? To be happy and content. To find someone who will love me as much as I would love them and not hurt or let me down. |
| |
